After studying Communications at Temple University (class of ’04), I decided to return to my roots and attend Cosmetology School at SBCC, graduating and licensed in ’06. I immediately began my career working alongside Walter Claudio at his renowned salon in Santa Barbara, CA, where I developed a passion for his HeadMapping™ system for color, a cutting curriculum based on customization, natural products such as Aveda, hair shows, runway looks, editorial makeup, and all the things, launching myself in the world of hair.
I decided to simplify my menu after having my first baby, when I realized I love creating customized daily looks for everyday people. As an “everyday people” myself, I find that my daily wear shifts from mood to mood, season to season. From car drop-offs to fundraisers to traveling, I want hair to look good in all settings.
In 2026, I launched 1329 Salon Collective with two other stylists. It’s been the greatest blessing to own and operate a salon with my team. I’ve always said 1329 Salon Collective is where quiet talent lives: a room full of talented, yet humble stylists. Eager to serve. Eager to create. My journey continues. Stay tuned.

My career in hair began in California and took me to London, where I trained with my friend and mentor, Vidal Sassoon. I later continued my journey in New York, refining my expertise in razor cutting and working alongside renowned stylists Sally Hershberger and José Eber.
Over the decades, I’ve worked as a salon owner, educator, platform artist, and coach. Inspired by the people, culture, and street style I encounter around the world, I specialize in short hair, creating distinctive cuts that celebrate individuality, movement, and effortless style.
I’m excited to bring my experience and creative vision to 1329 Salon Collective in Santa Barbara’s Arts District, surrounded by a community of like-minded professionals who share a passion for their craft.
